Purpose

The aim of microfiltration is to replace the traditional kieselguhr clarification process used for grape juice.

Solution

During treatment, the product is split into two streams:

  • a clear filtrate free from suspended solids, with very low turbidity
  • a concentrate containing the suspended solids, with high turbidity
